Privacy
First Bite has no accounts, no sign-up and no server-side storage. The tracker — your baby’s nickname and birthday, the foods you log, your favorites and your age filter — is written to your browser’s localStorage on your device and nowhere else. Clearing site data in your browser erases it permanently; we keep no copy.
Exactly what is stored locally
fb:profile— nickname and birthday you enter.fb:log— the foods you mark as tried, with dates and reactions.fb:favs— your favorited foods.fb:prefs— your age-filter selection.
Third parties
The site loads Google Analytics (with IP anonymization) for anonymous traffic counts. It sees ordinary page visits — never anything you type into the tracker. If you block analytics, every feature works exactly the same.
A note on sensitivity: because feeding and health data deserve care, the design keeps even the local footprint minimal — one optional nickname, one optional birthday, no growth data, no photos, no free-text notes.
